About Barrytastic Teaching
I started off my college career as not a teacher and focused on Biology. What would have been my senior year in college, I added education as a major and pursued my teaching license in Iowa. My endorsement is in 5-12 biology and 5-12 all science. The all science endorsement opened up my options to teaching other core science classes. This led to my first teaching job and a program in the Dubuque Community School District that focused on having an intense behavior program for students who's needs could not be met in their home middle/high school. Within this program students accessed their classes with teachers in the field and received one-on-one teaching and intensive supports as needed. I had the fantastic opportunity of working in that program as a science teacher for 4 years. The students I taught ranged from needing intensive academic support to being able to self-pace and learn their way through the course. It was fantastic! I left that job to find my next step in teaching and I wish all my students well.

I also have an assortment of Earth science, physics, chemistry, and marine biology materials as well as review games and classroom management items. All are file downloads and many editable for you to make accommodations for the needs of your students.
